Odds are out for NFL Week 8, and as expected, some teams with high hopes heading into the second half of the regular season are major favorites over other squads that can’t get out of their own way. Miami Dolphins vs. Atlanta Falcons
- When: Sunday, October 26th. 1:00 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 8 Odds: Dolphins +300 / Falcons
The hook means something in this game, but that wouldn’t be true. Atlanta boasts one of the NFL’s top rushing attacks when it’s on its game. Let’s be honest, facing the San Francisco 49ers on a Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara is a different story than hosting a depleted Miami team with no heart.
The Dolphins are in the midst of one of their worst seasons in history. The issue is that their roster is loaded with high-paid talent. So no excuses. Michael Penix Jr., Bijan Robinson, and Drake London dominate from beginning to end.

New York Jets vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The line doesn’t do the Bengals justice. The defense has been playing well, even though Trey Hendrickson has been on the bench. Joe Flacco is the perfect quarterback for this system.
Every day in practice, the 40-year-old must be licking his chops at the prospect of throwing the ball to Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Tossing the pigskin to those two guys is fun. The Jets are a mess. So much so that Aaron Glenn is thinking of benching Justin Fields; whoever is under center, it won’t matter. Bengals cover.
2025 NFL 8 Pick: Bengals
New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

- NFL Week 8 Odds: Giants +260 / Eagles -333
The Eagles looked good against a veteran team on the road when beating the Minnesota Vikings. But although the defense picked off Carson Wentz multiple times, the winning margin wasn’t as impressive as it should have been.
The Giants allowed the Broncos to score 33 points in the fourth quarter to lose a tight 33-32 game at Mile High. NYG is talented. They’re young but talented. Taking the points on Cam Skattebo and Jaxon Dart to continue their impressive play makes sense.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos
- When: Sunday, October 26th. 4:25 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 8 Odds: Cowboys +139 / Broncos -169
This one should be interesting. Dallas’s D has begun to play much better, but it still has work to do. The Broncos’ defense is terrific.
Both teams come off huge wins. The Boys beat the rival Commanders, and the Broncos rallied for 33 points in the fourth quarter. This is a challenging game, but Dallas has the steadier QB, and as good as the Broncos’ D is, Patrick Surtain can’t cover CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Javonte Williams. Consider backing Big D on the moneyline.
2025 NFL 8 Pick: Cowboys
Green Bay Packers vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
- When: Sunday, October 26th. 8:20 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 8 Odds: Packers +111 / Steelers -133
If the odds hold, this is NFL Week 8’s top moneyline play. We can get a nice payout on backing Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers at home versus a Green Bay squad that doesn’t always play well on the road.
Green Bay continues to struggle in the rushing attack. Although the defense is good, it will struggle if Jaylen Warren gains momentum on the ground. Pittsburgh should have a solid game plan, and home teams in the NFL typically have a significant edge. The Steelers cover and should win straight up.

Washington Commanders vs. Kansas City Chiefs
- When: Monday, October 27th. 8:15 p.m. ET
- NFL Week 8 Odds: Commanders +9.5 / Chiefs -9.5
It’s tough to lay 10 points in the NFL, but the Commanders aren’t a great football team this season. The defense hasn’t shown significant improvement, and Jayden Daniels is once again injured.
Marcus Mariota is a good backup quarterback. He’s one of the best QB2 players in the league. Still, D.C. faces the hottest team in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes has his full arsenal. So beating the Commanders, and beating them by a wide margin, shouldn’t be an issue.
