2025 NFL Week 4 Highlights

By Hank Blaine

Another week goes by, as we take a look at the top highlights of NFL Week 4 of the 2025 season.

2025 NFL Week 4 Top Highlights

Mahomes and the Chiefs send the Ravens to 1-3

In the NFL Week 4’s top matchup, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs took their record to .500 when blowing out Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens 37-20. Indeed, the Ravens suffered after Lamar had to leave the game due to a hamstring injury.

But by then, it was obvious that KC is the better team. Mahomes was on fire due in large part to the return of speedster Xavier Worthy, who had a nice game. How good, though, was the victory?

Kansas City looked great, but Mahomes got to torch one of the worst defenses in the NFL. The Ravens yield 33.3 points per game, which is insane. The D isn’t meeting John Harbaugh’s standards. So don’t jump on the Ravens at -3.5 versus Houston in Week 5.

Boys and Pack play to a 40-40 OT thriller in Parsons’ return

Mike McDaniel claims he’s not worried about his job. Maybe he isn’t. If he knows his fate is sealed, why worry about it?

Micah Parsons returned to AT&T Stadium to take on his former teammates in what turned out to be one of the most thrilling games of the season. The Dallas Cowboys are a different team at home than on the road, and it showed.

Heading into the game as a +6.5 home dog, the Boys dropped 40 onto the Packers’ supposedly superior D. Jordan Love and the Packers’ offense also produced 40 in what turned out to be an 80-point overtime game. Green Bay must worry about the way its defense performed in this game.

In their last two games, the Pack, which looked like Super Bowl winners, not just contenders but winners, after the first two weeks, have lost to the Cleveland Browns and tied Dallas, a team that might have the worst defense in the league. Green Bay has a bye. So Matt LaFleur and his staff have a week to figure out some things.

The Rams hand the Colts their first loss as Staff and Puka go off

The Indianapolis Colts had their chances against the LA Rams on Sunday. Indy could have won the game if not for a couple of miscues, but in the end, the Rams got it done. The reason is that the Colts couldn’t stop over 40 Matthew Stafford and the best receiver in the NFL, Puka Nucua.

Puka was unbelievable in this one. Nucua had 13 catches on 15 targets for 170 yards and a TD. Staff completed 29-of-41 for 375 yards and three touchdowns.

It’s time for us to give the Rams their due. LA could be undefeated if not for Philly’s miracle blocked field goal in NFL Week 4. On Thursday, the Rams host the once again injury-ravaged 49ers as -5.5 home favorites. The line has shifted a full 2 points in just a couple of days. Rams to cover has to be one of NFL Week 5’s top plays. The Niners D gave up 124 rushing yards to Travis Etienne in a home loss to the Jaguars in Week 4. Expect Sean McVay to lean on Kyren Williams and Blake Corum in this, and then once the rushing attack gets going, he’ll exploit the Niners’ secondary with pinpoint passes to Nucua and Davante Adams in space. Back the Rams with confidence.
