2025-26 NBA Regular Season Betting Predictions

By Jeff Stinger

NBA Preseason is in full swing, which means that in a couple of weeks, the real games start. For the first time in his over 20-year career, LeBron James must sit out the start of the season, which is good news if you’ve got Luka Doncic on your fantasy team. If you don’t, no worries. Check out a few 2025-26 NBA Regular Season betting predictions that can help you pad the bankroll. NBA odds listed and analysis provided.

A Closer Look at the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season

Oklahoma City Thunder

  • 2025-26 NBA Regular Season Odds: Under 62.5 -128

It’s tempting to pick the Thunder to win 63 of 82 regular-season games. But winning 60 is a massive accomplishment. For sure, the Thunder has the talent to do it. Still, things happen in an NBA Season.

One of which is to rest star players when there’s no requirement to have them suit up every night. The trend is here to stay. OKC should be far ahead for home court advantage in the playoffs. So expect a lot of downtime for SGA, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams.

San Antonio Spurs

  • 2025-26 NBA Regular Season Odds: Over 43.5 -108

San Antonio won’t stay down for long. This could be the season the Spurs wake up and win 50. So at 43.5, we’re getting a good deal. Why so bullish on the Spurs?

Franchises like San Antonio spring back quickly after being knocked down. The Spurs have had a good three to four years languishing at the bottom of the standings, which means, ala OKC, they’re about ready to break through and start winning at a high rate.

It helps that Victor Wembanyama finally has a player who can dish the ball. In his first NBA game, Dylan Harper tossed an alley-oop to Wembanyama. Harper could be the missing piece to bring the Spurs back to prominence.

Points Per Game Leader: Luka Doncic

  • 2025-26 NBA Regular Season Odds: +500

SGA, and rightfully so, is the chalk to lead the NBA in points per game. Nikola Jokic is second, and Luka is third. At third, Doncic offers a sweet 5-to-1 to get back to the top of the NBA points leader board.

Here’s the thing. Who knows how long LeBron will be out, and while he’s out, Luka is going to put up 40 a night to ensure the Lakers stay in playoff contention. When LeBron does return, he may not be as solid as we hope, so there’s a decent chance Luka continues to score in the 30-32 a night range.

2025-25 NBA Regular Season MVP: Nikola Jokic

  • 2025-26 NBA Regular Season MVP Odds: +300

Jokic probably should have won the award last season, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Oklahoma City Thunder to improbable heights. This season, Jokic is almost a lock to return to the MVP podium.

He could average a triple-double, and although the shine isn’t off SGA, Shai doesn’t do as much as Jokic does. Nobody in the NBA ever has. So the big fella gets his third award and decent odds to boot.

2025-25 NBA Pacific Division Winner: Golden State Warriors

  • 2025-26 NBA Pacific Division Odds: +250

There’s some love affair going on with the Clippers and the Lakers, both of which offer lower odds than the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers will have to play some games, though the exact number is unknown, without LeBron.

The Clippers are the Clippers, which means they’ll win some games but eventually fall apart. The Warriors get a full season with Jimmy B, Draymond, Steph, and Al Horford. If they stay healthy, the Warriors are good enough to hang with the Nuggets and Thunder. So at +240, they’re worth backing to win the Pacific.

2025-25 NBA Rookie of the Year: Ace Bailey

  • 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year Odds: +1000

Cooper Flagg is an underlay at -220. Yes, he is good—that good. But the odds are too low because Flagg mustn’t dominate. Dallas boasts a talented starting five, featuring Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, and D’Angelo Russell.

Ace Bailey has nobody around him in Utah. After two games, it’s evident that Bailey is the man for the Jazz. He scored 25 in his first preseason game and 21 in his second. In addition to the points, Bailey has four steals, four assists, and 13 boards in his first two NBA games. At 9-to-1, Bailey is an overlay to win Rookie of the Year.
