UFC 320 Main Card Preview
Abus Magomedov vs. Joe Pyfer
Underdog Magomedov has a three-inch reach advantage. Abus has also won three straight, both his fights in 2024 and his lone bout in 2025. But this is a major step up in class.
Joe Pyfer is 9-1 via TKO/KO and 3-1 via submission. Pyfer has faced and beaten the better competition. It’s difficult seeing the chalk lifting his arms in victory.
UFC 320 Pick: Joe Pyfer
Josh Emmet vs. Youssef Zalal
Based on opening odds, there aren’t many competitive fights on the main card at UFC 320. Money has landed big time on Zalal. So much so that in many places he’s a -500 to -550 chalk.
Emmett is 40 years old and has lost three of four. Zalal is 29 and has won 3 of his last four via submission. This one shouldn’t last more than a couple of rounds. So look for a Zalal prop to win, KO, or submission.
UFC 320 Pick: Youssef Zalal
Jiri Prochazka vs. Kahlil Rountree Jr.
Odds suggest Prochazka versus Rountree Jr. is the most competitive fight on the UFC 320 card. Prochazka is the chalk due to his 24-7 KO record. Jiri’s last two losses came against Pereira.
Rountree Jr. has won 3-of-4. But Kahlil gives up a few inches in reach. Still, the odds have remained steady all week, which means most believe Rountree Jr. has a chance. Give the dog a chance.
UFC 320 Pick: Kahlil Rountree Jr.
Merab Dvalishvili vs. Corey Sandhagen // UFC Bantamweight Title
Sandhagen is a big-time +300 underdog. Like Rountree Jr. versus Prochazka, the odds haven’t changed much. Mixed martial arts handicappers believe the odds are right.
That isn’t a good sign for Sandhagen. Dvalishvili is at the top of his game, dominating Sean O’Malley twice and putting a beating on then undefeated Umar Nurmegomedov. The champ keeps his belt.
UFC 320 Pick: Merab Dvalishvili
Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira // UFC Light Heavyweight Title
The main event will be entertaining because Pereira always comes to fight. Alex never takes it easy in the Octagon, and he’s got a great chin.
Ankalaev is going to have to work for the victory in this. Magomed got the decision victory in the last because he was disciplined. There comes a point where Pereira’s style, no-holds-barred for all five rounds, will take its toll. It may already have. Ankalaev wins.
UFC 320 Pick: Magomed Ankalaev
